SPY Tight Range with Shrinking Dollar Volume

SPY is testing historical high but trading dollar volume is decreasing in the last few days. Given the tightened tension of first expected rate cut in Sep and the wild spread narrative that recssion will come after rate cut, I expected volatility coming pretty soon. We cannot tell which way the market will go especially in light volume!
